Fade Resistance Performance

There is a move underway in the Government to turn what our Founding Fathers did in creating a legitimate nation of laws into a complete joke. Moreover, in recent decades our leaders have nearly returned us to the bondage and tyranny our Constitution was intended to protect us from. Our Independence and Freedom is now in grave danger of being completely lost.

The origins of the United States of America were wrought with blood and sweat by the people of this country, which in part designed the Constitution as a means to insure that our Government could never hold it's Citizens hostage like had previously occurred under the British Throne.

The United States Constitution and its Bill of Rights were engineered by very astute and wise men who had previously fought side by side with our other countrymen for our Independence from Tyranny. Since that point in time, subsequent Government Officials have ever so quietly usurped their power by hacking away little by little at the original document of the Constitution.

This Constitutional mutation has been accomplished quite artfully over many generations by means of amending the Bill of Rights nearly to the point of a fable. In doing so, the Government of the United States has been collectively obtaining far reaching powers which our Founding Fathers had expressly reserved for us, the People of the United States of America - not our Government.

While the Constitution was designed to be amended as required, the requisite power was left in the People, and explicitly maintains that any and all amendments must also leave the power in the People's hands not the Government. This was entirely the course of action until around 1930 or the Twentieth Amendment when our National Leaders began using the Bill of Rights to usurp the authority and power vested in the People, to expand Governmental Power over the People.

This, of course, has led to loss of Freedoms defined for the People by the Founding Fathers of these United States of America. Nevertheless, however disagreeable or unconstitutional one may believe an amendment to be, it does not really matter. The Law, whose meaning has also morphed over the last two centuries, becomes the divining shrine by which the US Government defines everything.

The Courts become Legislature, the Legislative Branch of Government tries to be Executive while acting Judicial - the lines of order and sanity are blurred and the People become helpless pansies as Freedom becomes something of a commodity for our Government to oppress "helpless" foreign nations with. In all the process, have we not become worse than the British Empire whose rule we escaped to start this Great Nation?
